New build 2024! Location is everything! Saltspray is on Rt 3 which is the main travel road into Acadia National Park and our beautiful town of Bar Harbor. Located on White Deer Circle where solitude is everything.
Saltspray is a new 2024 modern garage with high end studio apartment. Guests can enjoy private garage for 1 vehicle. Garage is equipped with washer and dryer. Studio Apartment has full kitchen with beautiful granite countertops. Stainless Steel lnduction stove and fridge with wine rack. It is open and sunny and surrounded by tall pines. Lovely private deck to enjoy coffee while watching the sun come up or dinner and cocktails or star gazing in the evening. Saltspray is located a straight 6 miles to the entrance of Acadia National Park. Miles and miles of trails to explore. Rent bikes and ride the carriage roads stopping at Jordan Pond house for their famous popovers on the lawn. There are 26 Mt. Peaks to hike. You can also hop on the free Island Explorer Bus which stops directly across the street at the Narrows Campground. Hadley Point beach is located just 2 miles away. This is an excellent beach for Kayaking which you can rent right there, evening bon fires or just taking in our beautiful sunsets. Sweet Pea Cafe and winery 2 mi. Mainely Meat BBQ at Atlantic Brewing Company 2 mi. Pirates Cove Mini Golf 3 miles, Great place for lobster is C Rays Lobster located 2 mi. Sunrise on Cadillac is a must. You need park passes as well as reservations for summit May 21 - Oct 2rth 2025.

Saltspray was phenomenal!! My Wife and I stay for the weekend while we were seeing Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor! Great location - minutes from both yet quiet and peaceful! Highly recommend and would absolutely stay again!

Perfect location for Acadia and Bar Harbor

Everything about our stay was top notch! The proximity to the park and Bar Harbor was perfect. Just removed enough to recharge after long days of exploring and hiking. Our host gave great recommendations and makes the best blueberry muffins! Would stay here again!

Eve was very friendly and helpful in guiding our choices for both dining and places of interest to visit. The room she provided was clean and just the right size for our short stay. We had a comfortable balcony overlooking her spacious yard and many birds visited her feeders.We especially enjoyed Eve's delicious blueberry muffins (homemade). We have many great memories from this beautiful place.

Apartment is on second floor over garage; necessitates a stair climb. Very welcoming host, but she was never intrusive. Good value for the money.

This studio apartment close to Acadia National Park exceeded our expectations! The décor was just my style. The location was perfect - close enough to hiking, biking, kayaking, eating... - yet away from the fray of Bar Harbor.It was also great to have fully stocked kitchen to cook some meals and save a bit of money on food. Eve allowed us early check in to put away groceries, and late checkout to watch sunrise over Cadillac mountain, then come back to pack up. Highly recommended. Perfect in every way. My favorite VRBO so far:)

Perfect place to stay

This is the absolute perfect place to stay as far as amenities offered within this rental ( we don’t like to spend the time or money going out for every meal so a kitchen is a must ), great proximity to the park and hiking trails, and great proximity to downtown Bar Harbor for dinner places. The owner was so helpful with suggestions for dinner places and provided yummy blueberry muffins on arrival. For a couple, you will find everything you need in this rental. Made a very rainy Maine trip extra special.

The place is so cozy! Feels like a studio apartment with a balcony looking into the woods. About 15 min from the center of bar harbor’s waterfront, and anywhere from 20-30 minutes from Acadia. A perfect place to stay after long days of hiking. Eve was wonderful, and her dog Gingersnap also said hi! Thanks so much for your generosity & hospitality!

Wonderful visit

We are not hikers but enjoyed driving in Acadia and up Cadillac mountain and just wandering. Eve’s place was exactly as pictured and perfect for the 2 of us. We didn’t cook much but the apartment was certainly set up and equipped enough for cooking. The muffins and daffodils were a nice welcome. I would recommend this and we were happy to be away from the busy town.

Our overall impression of this property was that is was very nice. We were very close to Acadia National Park and had an easy time getting around. Eve was a very delightful host and made sure were had everything we needed. We would stay here again if we are in the area!

Excellent choice for couples!

New build designed and decorated with guests in mind! Very comfortable for long term guests or weekend get-away! Garage is available to guests and has a complete laundry center including a folding table! We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again!!

Fun and functional

This super clean, well-equipped studio apartment had everything we needed for a few nights in the Bar Harbor area. Convenient location to town and to Acadia Park entrance. We had a great time visiting Eve's lovely place.
