"The hotel had beautiful views and friendly staff. Our children loved getting a free smores kit to make them at the firepit right next to the playground. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious and the free breakfast was surprisingly good. The rooms were not as nice as we were expecting but it was comfortable. The pool was not fancy but we all enjoyed swimming after a day of hiking."

"Got one night at the last minute for a Wednesday night stay at a great rate (included breakfast and parking). The room I got was larger than a suite at most hotels and everything was new, probably because the hotel is less than a year old. What that means is the staff go out of their way to make your stay easy. Probably the best overall attitude I’ve experienced in a long time. Hotel is just far enough away from the tourist district to be quiet, while still being only a 5m walk there. I wish I’d tried the hotel restaurant for dinners after what I had for breakfast, but can’t be clairvoyant."

"Had a great stay here at this motel. The little things really made our stay feel superior. Top notch staff and amenities that are included. My list of amenities I really appreciated • Communication Easy texting service for questions and staff was so friendly at check in and even called to let us know of fire with s’mores wasn’t cancelled because of short staff (they couldn’t guarantee it at check in) I had a question about charges called back within an hour and easily resolved. Even called our friends to let them know they left an AirPod after we left. • Fire and s’mores nightly • Lobster decorative towels on the bed (so cute) • Cute vintage styled rooms and clean Includes microwave • Snacks and drinks available through the day/until front desk closes One night we were tired and thought about ordering food but remember they had snacks and went and got cereal and yogurt. Saved us some money and energy! • Best Variety for continental breakfast I’ve seen. Hot food, waffle one morning then pancakes the next (you toast them) we actually liked this vs the messy make your own. Fresh fruit, Cheese and meat, muffins, bagels, English muffins even Gluten Free options!!! (Hot food clearly not the best quality but for a free breakfast it was great) • Great view to eat breakfast outside I was surprised so many people even ate inside, had a view of the water. •Pretty landscaping We booked this last minute and wasn’t looking for anything crazy just a place to stay in Bar harbor that didn’t c"

"Our stay was amazing! Christopher and Constance especially were very kind, helpful, and had wonderful recommendations. One time, Chris even called up the restaurant we were going to and made us a reservation on the spot. Outstanding customer service. Very clean rooms and facilities. Excellent location just a short walk away from the main shopping street. Would 100% recommend and come back."

"Updated without sacrificing it's charm. The manor was quaint, clean and convient. Wife and I booked 3 nights for our anniversary and couldn't be more pleased with the experience. Weather was chilly, so we would warm up at one of the outdoor firepits, grab a drink from the outdoor bar and then back off to the shops and restaurants that are steps away. The staff was exceptional and and made us feel comfortable. I can't think of anything I would change about the experience. "
