"My son and I stayed at hotel Charles for 3 nights during a trip to the city and cannot fault the staff for friendliness and politeness. On arrival our room door lock wasn't working, so we were upgraded to a bigger room at no extra cost - the only minor issues were that we were right next to the main road, so pretty noisy, but so tired after walking miles around the beautiful city, we actually slept through it! Our breakfast was lovely, great selection of different food and once again, the staff were lovely. All in all, I would highly recommend this hotel if you want a clean, comfortable place to sleep and a great breakfast, with staff who are all exceptionally friendly and helpful."
