"We really enjoyed our week stay. Rod and Zeena have thought of everything for the holiday makers both in and out of the gite. They greeted us so warmly on our arrival and provided us with the essentials for the first night, including cold beers in the fridge as we stepped out of our car! "Large family holiday, ages varying from 2-60. Beautiful house, great outdoor area with outside pergola and table plenty big enough to sit all 13 of us which was great. As in description location is very rural so definitely need cars, but supermarket is 10 mins drive away. Estelle was very helpful leading up to our holiday, and during our stay. "We had a perfect stay in Elske’s beautiful property in Chadenac. It is really well equipped with a lovely warm pool and plenty to keep us amused such as basketball, table tennis and trampolining. We were looked after very well by Elske’s Team. It was perfectly situated for trips into the château town of Jonzac and historic Pons and only 40 minutes from the estuary towns of Mortagne and Talmont. A stay here is very highly recommended."

"We weren’t disappointed by this property at all. We stayed for 3 nights while attending a wedding . I will say that this place while soundproofed, is not quiet, you can hear people in other rooms. The beds could be a bit more comfortable too. Other than that, our room was clean, the staff were friendly and spoke English. The location is beautiful, we loved Jonzac and would return. "

"We stayed in pillac with 10 adults from 74 to 34, and 9 children aged between 2 and 18 and what a holiday we had! The house is perfectly set up for family groups as each lot can take a "wing". A really well equipped kitchen enabled us to have wonderful meals at home... meat cooked by the boys and wonderful salads cooked by Barbara's friend. Barbara was super helpful and very easy to contact the whole time. The village was gorgeous but tiny..... about a 10 minute drive for any grocery shopping....
