This hotel is about 13 kilometers outside of Regensburg in the middle of farmland. It's very quiet and peaceful. You definitely need a car to go anywhere but it's still close to major roads stores and restaurants.

This hotel could be a better fit for international travelers with a few simple adjustments. Adding some basic amenities like a “Do Not Disturb” sign, tissues, USB plugs or outlet converters, and complimentary bottled water would be helpful. Another improvement could be ensuring housekeeping knocks before entering the room, as this can be unsettling for guests. On the positive side, the room was clean, which is always appreciated, and parking was convenient. These small changes could enhance the overall experience for guests from abroad.

We spent 4 nights here, using the hotel as a base while visiting friends and site-seeing. When we return to Bavaria, we will be using The Pension am Donaubogen again (assuming they have a vacancy). It is a perfect place for us.

Pleasantly Pleased

Our room was spacious, clean and quiet. The balcony was a nice place to relax. 😊 No road sounds, just the pleasant sound of of birdies chirping.

I reached there quite late, but my room key waited me at the front desk (open door to the reception), so it was a nice surprise. The room was absolute modern, clean, smart. I felt the designer smartness. Unfortunately I saw just one lady who was the receptionist, cooker, administrator, housekeeper in one, so I had to wait at least 15 mins until the lady finished a long phone conversation. I asked three fried eggs, but because she had to look multiple things at once, the bottom of the eggs became dark brown... The selection of the breakfast was very basic, poor.

Ich war schön öfters in dieser Unterkunft und es war wieder mal eine tolles Erlebnis. Man wird herzlich empfangen, toll moderne Zimmer und eine sehr ruhige Lage!

Die Zimmer sind gross und bieten eine Ausstattung, ähnlich wie bei einer Ferienwohnung mit Kochmöglichkeit und Geschirr. Die Elektroinstallationen mit KNX-Bussystem lassen keinen Wunsch offen. Verschiedene Schaltungen sind vorprogammiert und man kann die Leuchten vom Eingang und vom Bett aus alle individuell schalten. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, man erwartete mich bereits, da alle Unterlagen schon ausgedruckt waren. Das Frühstücksbuffet hat eine gute Grösse und hat alles dabei gehabt.

Von der Ankunft bis zur Abreise wurden wir freundlich und hilfsbereit von den Mitarbeitern betreut. Die Zimmer sind modern und groß. Wir hatten einen Balkon, der für den Tagesausklang super war. Mückenschutz ist sowohl am Fenster, Balkontür und auch vor dem Balkon gegeben. Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl und können die Unterkunft weiter empfehlen.

Aufenthalt in Sarching

Die Dame.amder Rezeption war sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend. Das Einchecken verlief auch reibungslos. MeinZimmer riesiges Zimmer war sauber, große Dusche, komfortables Doppelbett. Mobilnetz hatte ich im Zimmer sehr gering bis nichts. Das Frühstück war Standard nichts besonderes. Ich musste früher auschecken als geplant und das Hotel es kostenlos storniert obwohl ich über die App gebucht habe. Das nennt man Service. Geld ist nicht alles. Daher würde ich das Hotel wieder buchen!

Außergewöhnliche Pension in guter Lage

Sehr angenehme Pension. Tolle Lage in einem kleinen Dorf, nahe der Donau, Regensburg mit dem Auto schnell zu erreichen, Donaustauf als interessantes Ziel (Walhalla) gleich um die Ecke. Außergewöhnliche Infrastruktur der Pension im römischen Stil, passend zur historischen Region. Großzügiges Zimmer, wir waren mit drei Personen dort. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, viele Tipps für Ausflüge in der Umgebung erhalten. Prima Frühstück, auch unter Corona Bedingungen. Wenn wir wieder in diese Gegend kommen, werden wir dort sicherlich übernachten.

Hyggeligt sted

Vi er en familie på fire som var på gennemrejse gennem Regensburg. Stedet ligger i en meget lille by øst for Regensburg, hvor der findes dette hotel/pension og en restaurant. Der var meget stille, men værelserne var helt nye og meget soignerede. Meget sødt værtspar. Kan varmt anbefales
