"Laurence and Christian were very welcoming and it was lovely to meet their pet sheep and two friendly dogs. The house was as described and was clean and comfortable. There was a lovely log burner, with plenty of wood, for the colder evenings and alternative heating if you wanted it. The property was lovely and peaceful. Highly recommend it."

"It was a pleasant change to stay in a smaller hotel that had a family feel about it, as opposed to a large soul- less corporate hotel. The staff were friendly, pleasant and courteous. My room was very nicely decorated and filled out, and the en-suiute was spotlessly clean and looked as it it had been recently installed. I also had the benefit of a terrace that I could sit out in.
