Great hotel

The Abba Sants hotel was in a great location for the end of our trip. Great access to the Barcelona Sants train station, lots of places to eat, good access to walk to the Montjuic site for exploring. The staff were excellent, restaurant was good. The buffet breakfast had a lot of variety too! We recommend this hotel.

The hotel had everything we needed and was in great condition. Staff was friendly and helpful. The only thing we didn’t enjoy was the location of the hotel. It had a few cafe’s and restaurants but other than that a pretty quiet area.

Great location to skip downtown madness

I’m from Barcelona but living abroad, I stayed in this hotel during a visit in summer. Being next to Sants Station gives you access to everywhere in the city with public transport or rest of Spain with high speed train. Price was better than downtown, but they should allow to pay through the platform directly.

Overall okay hotel close to train station so it was very convenient. Room was spacious and clean. Staff not the friendliest and charged us for “early” check in for an hour or so early which we much needed. No other hotel for in our 3 week stay did.

For me this was a great find. It’s convenient as it’s a walking distance to Barcelona-Sants station. (Add to the fact that my relatives also live nearby so the hotel was really just a walkable distance). Overall the place is clean, especially the rooms. I find the glass door in the bathroom inconvenient but nothing too bad. The scent in the hotel lobby/reception was overpowering but as well nothing to sour my stay. In fact on my next visit to Barcelona, I would book here again. The staff was accommodating and good communicators. I’d highly recommend this for those who’d want convenience to transit but have the feel of a luxurious stay.

Great breakfast

Very close to Barcelona Sants trainstation, so If you have a connection route from there, this hotel is perfectly located. The hotel was nice and clean, although the sents/odour of room sents they were selling in the lobby was little too much for us. There was an abandoned yard right next to the hotel, and it was a 24/7 stay for some junkies and their big dog, and they made a little noice while fighting etc. Not very nice to be listening while travelling with a child. The breakfast of the hotel was very tasty and with a good variety, also gluten free options available.

The rooms are in a poor condition, the furniture is chipped, surface peeled, the bathroom door frame peeled and rotting, the hallway floor is dirty and looks like placemats put together
