Excellent location. Walkable to tons of the places that make the Gothic quarter special. Very reasonable walk to the waterfront as well. There is a lively plaza behind the hotel with some kind of band that played most nights but they were quiet by a little after ten and besides them you really couldn’t hear much noise from outside at all as the windows and walls are very well sound proofed. The front desk staff was consistently friendly and helpful in addition to being a solid presence at the door, never unaware of any one coming in or out. The shower is wonderful. The room was cleaned well every day. Overall we were extremely happy with our choice to stay here and would highly recommended it.

Many people have noted that the hotel is located on a busy square (well Triangle) that can be quite loud in the early morning hours, but that was not an issue for me. Perfect location in the Gothic Quarter. The staff os AMAZING! Stayed in a Superior room and it was very nice with lots of space, well-equipped and had a small balcony with a beautiful view of the Quarter. If you're a light sleeper you might want to ask for a room away from the street as the Quarter is pretty lively all night long. Not loud...just lively. Loved everything about this hotel!!
