Very unique hotel with character. Didn't like the neighbor smoking on the balcony and flicking his cigarette ashes onto mine, as well as him thinking it was ok to disturb guests with his loud conversation at 3:00 a.m., with his friend on the balcony. It's an older hotel and not sound proof so the hotel policy should be updated to support guests with being polite.

Very authentic and beautiful Spanish style hotel. Perfect location and the restaurant okay. Bar closed due to renovations and the hotel is generally run down.

Amazing experience, would love to stay there again

Amazing location and awesome, very stylish hotel with small balcony which was a great addition to the overall experience. I loved the decor with an old elevator like from the movies and elegant French tiles in the bathroom.. Everything was perfect and I would definitely stay there again.

Bring ear plugs….

Check in was horrendous and they had only 1 person on reception when I arrived. They were checking in about 7 people as a group but one at a time. I had to go for lunch as I would have been waiting ages. The rooms were really noisy with no sound proofing and hard wooden floors so you could constantly hear foot steps. Breakfast was very average. I accept this is a 3 star hotel but when you pay over €1,000 for 2 nights, this should be a lot better

Loved the interior of the hotel and the bed was comfy. Drains weren’t good as let off an eggy smell and the walls were that thin you could hear ants walking. Hear doors closing, people using the toilets and what the rooms next door were getting up to. Was a shame as had high hopes for when saw the hotel!

Friendly staff and helpful with a change of room since was given a honeymoon room instead of a double twin room. Could have been cleaner, dust on floor edges and walls need paint touch ups. Bed mattresses were not comfortable. Only one mirror in bathroom, none in room. Breakfast was good and had a nice spread. Not the best area to stay in to see the tourist attractions. Ubers take forever, you have better luck if you just flag a taxi down.

I found the downstairs area with the restaurant to be nice. But going upstairs to the hotels was a different story. The actual hotel rooms were not depicted clearly on the website. The rooms were very old and seemed like an older building that never got remodeled. The walls are paper thin and I could hear everything in the hallway outside my door as well as in the rooms next to me. The only way I could sleep was with earbuds in my ears playing something overnight. There were also no coffee makers, fridges, or microwaves in the rooms. It wasnt a horrible place to stay. It was decent, but I wanted to leave my honest review to help others, because these are things I would've wanted to know.

30c in room, thin walls, cockroach

We stayed for 3 night during our trip to Barcelona in beginning och January. The room had a wierd smell when we entered, but you get used to it. The room was way too warm, set to 30 c and the ac unit did not work, so it was jard to sleep or even be in the room. The walls are thin, you hear you neightboors snooring (very annoying)as well as the street and the cleaning vehicles. We also had a loud noise in the bahtroom on the "window" that obe couldn't see though (probably connected to something else) The last night we found a living cockroach in the bathroom, pretty big one. When we talked to the reception to get help to remove it they gave us a broom, told us to kill it and diapose it. They seem very unaffected by it, apparently we weren't the first one to report finding one in the room that day. The receptionist daid it was becasue of the potential rain that day. All in all, will not come back

We chose a basic room with twin beds. Cheapest bc we were planning a long trip. This hotel was probably built a couple hundred years ago. The room was large, with NO windows, only two air vents. However, the beds were SO COMFORTABLE!!!! And two doubles, too. Rainhead shower about 6.5' tall. Great location. Right by San Antonio market and 3 blocks from Hop On/Hop Off Bus stop. 2 blocks to airport shuttle. Restaurant attached was delicious. Highly recommend.

Find somewhere else to stay :-)

We should have believed the reviews stating the noise problem at this place. The place was worn out and in a bad condition. We booked a terrasse room, but the terrace was so old and made of splintered Wood planks and loose screws as on the pictures attached here.. We had such terrible sleep due to the paper thin walls: you could hear your neighbourghs private conversation from our bed, a lot of noise from the restaurant downstairs and also from the street. We brought it up several times but staff wasnt to much help. Wouldnt recommend it to anyone.

Secteur tranquille, proche d'un super marché publique. Lit confortable et chambre spacieuse. Malheureusement l'hotel manque beaucoup d'entretiens pour ce prix payé. Mobilier brisé et abimé, calcaires abondant au lavabo, planches de la terrasse instables. Le service de certains employés etait médiocre. Certains devrait prendre des formation comment sourire et etre sympatique. J'ai au aussi plusieurs arguments pour avoir des capsules de café et de l'eau. C'était à géometrie variable. Définitivement trop cher pour le produit.
