It's a beautiful hotel in a great location for walking everywhere in the Gothic Quarter. The front desk staff are very nice and helpful. The rooms are very spacious, quiet and comfortable. The terrace on top is very nice and quite comfortable in the evenings. The breakfast set up is excellent. The areas I would suggest for improvement would be to get an iron for guests and make sure that the TV's work properly. Our remote did't work right and was not fixed or replaced. Also, the wait staff helping for breakfast need to be a bit more cheerful to the guests.

25th anniversary getaway

The Mercer took great care of us and the breakfast was fantastic. The location is unbeatable for exploring old Barcelona as you step out the front door into the shops and narrow winding streets and alleys which give Barcelona its charm. Loved our stay.

This is my third time staying here and this hotel never ceases to impress. Highly recommended for a couple or single travelers. My favorite part is the rooftop pool! Next time I am in BCN I will be staying here again!

Great honeymoon stay

We stayed at Mercer for our honeymoon and had a great time. The property is very well located within the streets of Gothic Quarter. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We didn’t get the chance to eat in the restaurant but had great martinis at the bar.

This charming boutique hotel offers beautiful, comfortable rooms and a wonderful atmosphere. The entire Mercer staff is like a warm family, welcoming and happily caring for every guest need. Breakfast each morning was an unforgettable delight and the rooftop lounge was a fantastic quiet place to unwind and regroup in the afternoon.
