"I was there in the final week of the season, with the Residence mostly full, the hotel section closed, and minimal staff (Pierre really was our knight in shining armour), but the experience was still excellent. We were looked after extremely well, and the room, facilities, and pastry deliveries were all first class. Highly recommended!"

"I was really pleased with our choice of Le Chamois D’Or. It is ideally located near the bottom of the magic carpet and Pioneers chair lift and really is ski in/out. The room was spacious and extremely well equipped with everything you would need in the kitchen. We even had a balcony overlooking the piste. "Lovely, quiet, tons of space. Cows grazing in the backyard which we watched from the deck. Be aware there are no restaurants so get groceries before to cook in the full kitchen. Luckily we found a food truck"

"Le studio pour 4 n'est pas pour 4, nous étions 2 et c'était le max. Nous nous attendions à un peu plus de commodité (un seul rouleau de papier hygiénique pour 7 jours, pas de sel et poivre, ...). L'emplacement est excellent, au cœur de Méribel et à quelques pas des pistes. Le personnel à l'accueil est très courtois et répondait à toutes nos questions. Les heures d'ouverture de l'accueil sont à considérer."

"These apartments are mostly clean and adequate for a ski trip if skiing is your main purpose. Great ski in ski out location. Don't come here if you are a non skier as there is nothing to do other than the pool. The adjoining (and only) restaurant was nice if a little pricey. "Terrible. Would not stay here again. Power continuously went out. Extremely loud, could not sleep. Walls are so thin you can hear people outside and in every room. Floors were so dirty. Beds uncomfortable. Front desk does not help at all with any requests. Spend your money somewhere else. "

"I travelled to the Tourotel expecting the worst given a lot of the reviews, and was pleasantly surprised and can only suggest those giving such poor reviews haven't stayed in ski accommodation before or hadn't looked at any of the photos. Yes it's basic (as are most ski accommodations), but they are well equipped (I've attached the inventory of the 2 bed apartment), and the mountain facing balcony rooms have the best view of any accommodation I've stayed in the alps. "Although not particularly close to restaurants the location worked really well for us. The accommodation we were in (1bed family/sleep6) was slightly smaller than the ones in the photos but ideal for 2 adults and 2 teenagers prepared to use a bunk bed in a room that was not technically a bedroom, probably due to it’s size, but worked well for us. "We stayed on the Pichu wing. Everything was ok. You have to buy your own toilet paper, trash bags ect, which I felt was strange. The kitchen was fully equipped and had a toaster, stove top and microwave. We did cook a full meal one night for fun. The on-site restaurants are not worth it. "Our second time visiting and we have rebooked for a 3rd Nicole was amazing despite some issues with VRBO and the washing machine she was in constant communication. It was great to add linen to our booking this year. The appartment is a good size we are 2 families equalling 10 people. Ski in/ out was still possible even in April Good sized rooms with plenty of views of the slops outside. Nicole added items to the kitchen from our last stay which made things even easier."
