This beautiful apartment is located in the very heart of medieval Barga, 20 metres from Piazza del Comune where you will find the atmospheric cafe/restaurant Capretz and Aristo's bar. The theatre, the Duomo and many other cafes and restaurants are only a couple of minutes' away while the modern centre is only 5 minutes' walk. Only if you stay inside the walls, you can really appreciated the feeling of Barga.

Charming apartment in heart of old town

Apartment was very clean an has everything you need for a stay in Barga Loved being in the middle of the old town -close to local restaurants and just below the Duomo. Took a while to work out the Italian plug system but that is all part of living in an older property. The mattresses were a bit hard and the kitchen sink had no cold water but otherwise we loved the apartment

Idyllic apartment in beautiful Barga

The apartment was beautifully clean, well equipped and very comfortable. The terrace is a lovely place to sit and watch the stars come out, but unfortunately had no shade from the afternoon sun. Maybe a parasol or some sort of sunshade might be something to think about? The location is ideal, right in the heart of town with everything within easy walking distance. Lots of lovely places to eat and mostly very reasonably priced. Wonderful gelateria!! We didn't quite work our way through all the flavours! Beautiful surrounding countryside, views from the Duomo are stunning, a photographer's paradise. We'd definitely recommend this apartment to anyone looking to stay in Barga old town. A perfect holiday base.

Tasteful, comfortable apartment !

A delightful apartment in Old Barga, which is close to restaurants & music entertainment, the terrace is relaxing with lots of sun in the afternoon & also has great views of the mountains, Fabio, the owner met us at a local cafe & was extremely informative, welcoming & helpful, we would not hesitate to return.
