I highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to enjoy Bari. One block from train station and close to the Main Street with access to old town. From airport take train to the train station for 5.3 Euros. The staff is extremely helpful esp Sylvia on the front deck. The staff at breakfast very helpful!!

Good location in walking distance to the old town. The hotel is pretty new, and everything is in great condition and was spotless clean. Wonderful breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. The room was a bit dark (window facing the wall) but we didn’t mind as this was just a quick city trip.

Great hotel next to the train station and plenty of restaurants in Bari. Breakfast was delicious. The room was super clean. We enjoyed the sunset at the rooftop bar. The staff was very helpful and suggested a few restaurants nearby that we have tried and loved.

We had a lovely stay at Il Leon D'Oro - we were given a lovely room on the 9th floor which was modern, clean and quiet at the same time despite being located in the city centre of Bari Both reception and check in staff were lovely and helpful Good variety in breakfast We even had a late drink on the rooftop bar one night whicha gain was a nice touch Thank you again!

The hotel is a very nice and practical city hotel - the central station and the historic city centre are closeby and the hotel is designed very thoughtfully with a lot of nice details and the rooftop bar is great as well. The staff was very nice, especially Antonio from reception. We did however not understand why a peaceful game of backgammon was not allowed on the rooftop according to hotel policies when it was at the same time allowed to smoke, shout, stream shows on smartphones and work with laptops around us?

Excellent hotel just across the train station, which makes it a very convenient base for travel and access to the airport. The room was spacious with modern furnishings and sparkly clean, bed was very comfortable, great shower. Breakfast was very nice with varied offerings. The rooftop bar / lounge was perfect for an evening drink and light dinner. Everyone at the front desk was very kind and accommodating. Overall, I had an excellent stay and would return when visiting Bari again. Highly recommended!

If I could give this hotel 20 stars, I would. It’s practically brand new (less than five months old) and everything about it is exceptional. The location is perfect—right across from the bus station, with a pedestrian walkway behind the hotel that leads you through all the best shops in Bari, straight into Old Town and down to the ocean. No cars, just a beautiful walk. The hotel itself is state-of-the-art, thoughtfully designed, fully accessible, and equipped with fast, modern elevators. Every detail in the rooms is well planned and comfortable. Parking is incredibly convenient—just about 20 steps to the right of the hotel. It can be a little tricky to find at first, but once you do, it couldn’t be easier. The staff truly made the experience. Everyone was welcoming, helpful, and attentive. The included breakfast was outstanding—one of the best we’ve had. And the rooftop bar? Absolutely amazing. Great atmosphere, excellent food, a talented chef, fantastic music, and a bartender who really made the experience special. This hotel exceeded every expectation. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
