Comfortable and quiet

Beautiful grounds and the room was very clean and comfortable. Bed was comfortable and ac worked well. Nice shower Gussippe was very nice and helpful. You can catch the 12 bus and go into Bari centrale with your credit card. Very easy to use the bus. We walked into the Torre Mare and enjoy dinner and the plaza. It’s about a 20 min walk there. Swimming in the ocean to the right when you walk out of the property is very nice.

The property and rooms are ok. They did the job but wouldn’t describe it as luxury at all. Modern but very basic. e.g. no cup for tea and coffee, one sachet of shower gel and no towels provided for the pool as some examples. If you have a car and want to explore the area and towns in Puglia, it’s great location and the pool provides time to relax. We had minimal interaction with the host. No advice for the surrounding area which was ok for us but felt might be useful for future guests. He did answer WhatsApp messages quickly when needed. Breakfast was very basic too which shuts at 9am. Cornflakes, croissants, melon, yogurt, bread, ham and cheese were all that’s included. Juices and coffee too. The coffee machine was good but would have been nice to use after 9am.

Location was great - we loved the small commercial area and coastline within walking distance from the property. The property was very peaceful and quiet which we loved. Room was clean and staff were helpful. Unfortunately the pool wasn't open in May which was one critical reason I booked this property. I did not see this in the Description's fine print when booking (so I guess that is my fault for not looking more carefully?) and only found out when we arrived which was a big disappointment. The room was very small and smelled heavily of chemical disinfectant - I thought it would ease up over time, but it did not and we needed to keep the windows and door open at all times. Due to these issues, I would not book there again. Sorry.
