"We were only there overnight. We should have been there to enjoy the afternoon and evening, but train strikes or other such issues delayed our arrival until late evening. Our host held our hand electronically and provided all the access we needed to gain access and shortly after arrival, we all collapsed from a day of travel. "Once we got to the apartment, we did not know how to gain access to the unit. Our taxi cab driver had to help us by speaking to the owner of the unit. Umberto gave the taxi driver instructions on how to get the key. The key was in a lock box which was difficult to open. Once we got into the unit we discovered that we had no instructions on how to use any of the appliances, internet and air conditioning. Excellence in Bari

"Thank you for a wonderful stay in Bari. Really easy to find, across the road from the rear entrance of Bari Centrale station, just past Lidl. The room was clean and tidy, with comfy bed, fully functioning A/C, and a very handy fridge and kettle. Breakfast was fantastic with plenty of hot and cold options, sweet & savoury, and great coffee. Some nice touches, such as a welcome drink and nibbles in the bar on the first evening. Also a free to use coffee machine and other drinks available in the bar area during the day. The hotel was a perfect base for exploring other parts of Puglia by train.... Monopoli, Polignano, Ostuni, Lecce, Locorotondo, Alberobello, and Matera. And of course, Bari itself, especially the old town and harbour. "
