"We were in town for the Truman State University Family Weekend. We have a large family and the house was large enough for everyone to have their own space. The house was spotless and had everything we needed to make us feel right at home. We were worried that the commute would be bad because it was 10 miles away but it was all one road and seemed to go very fast. We were so happy that we plan on staying here every year."

"Fantastic! We were a party of 12 adults and 6 children. It was said over and over again throughout our stay how absolutely perfect this property is for a group like ours. There are 2 beds and private bathroom in every single bedroom, as well as a separate rec room on the back of the building perfect for kids to be loud. Ours brought their roller skates and skated the whole weekend. The pool table in the photos was missing which was a bit of a disappointment, but we assumed it had been damaged by prior guests as the pool sticks and pool balls were still there. As mentioned by others, the kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed. Even plenty of napkins provided on the huge dining table, and soap provided at every sink throughout the entire building. Plenty of towels & bedding. Fire pits & firewood was amazing. We got a ton of use out of the sandy beach, dock, and canoe! Even played a game of croquet we found in the rec room! Walmart is a quick 15-20 min away. I cannot say enough positive things. We definitely hope to come back!!"
