We knew that Barneveld was devastated by a tornado in 1984 & we thought there’d be a museum. There was not, but was told that the library had many articles /stories about that terrible event.

The Perfect Getaway
"Thoroughly enjoyed the home and the surroundings.Unfortunately, because we were on the go so much we really didn't have time to go exploring, but I would have liked to. Didn't get down to the Tea House. Maybe next time!"

We drove to Mt. Horeb and ate at the Grumpy Troll. Great area. Lot's of fun. My 6 year old grandson is still talking about the Cave of the Mounds. Great trip.
