"Hotel is located in a secluded area, surrounded by nature and water, a beautiful landscape.
Room was spacious , no air conditioning but with a ceiling fan that was helpful at night. We like the Pool area with the monkeys jumping around"
"We had a fantastic stay loved the boat ride to the lodge, rooms were spacious, lovely big bathroom
Balcony had a lovely swinging seat overlooking the river
Breakfasts were fruit plus fish of your choice and was excellent
Trails around the hotel were great to see frogs and birds
We did a fantastic magical kayaking trip which is a must
We visited national park to see turtles laying eggs, unfortunately she Borykng the hole before laying eggs but we did see the turtle going back to the sea and the hole shed dug, still a memorable experience
A highlight were the iguanas lounging around the pool with us and the macaws hanging out in the trees "
"This guest house is great. The staff are so helpful. Emmanuel on reception contacted us in advance to give us really useful travel advice. The ferry dropped us straight to the guest house so we didn’t have to carry our bags a long distance. We were in the lagoon room which had an amazing view. Really good value for money. I definitely recommend this place. "
"It is a wonderful spot.
The photos don't do it justice, nestled between the river and the sea, the public boat dropped us off at the property.
Staff were excellent, teens loved the pool and how easy it was to wonder into town."
"Beautiful property. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and the available excursions were well organized and fun. I was a little disappointed there wasn’t any hot water but that is not an unusual thing for the area."
"The staff is very nice. Book some tours through their partner agency because they have friendly and knowledgeable guides. A few friendly cats in the area, buy some whiskers from the grocery store and make some friends. Sloths in the tree outside. The beach is a few feet away if that’s your thing as well, very shallow water but a refreshing dip. The jungle park is just down the street, 6km out and back close to the beach with some good wildlife. Friendly locals, probably a bit crowded during busy season, but all good vibes. There are a lot of cafes and restaurants but they all have similar menus, not the greatest cuisine but good enough. "
"The lodge is located in an area where we could get to the village easily by water taxi. The pool was perfect for relaxing and refreshing after a canoe tour of the national park. "
