"First time staying at the Imperial. Lovely hotel. Spacious family room. Cooked breakfast great. Good choice. Plenty of staff to tidy and setup. Seated within 5mins. Didn’t eat in restaurant but had the menu from bar. Pizzas huge! Lovely. Burger massive. Looked delicious and chunky chips with the best. Would defo recommend. Parking is limited and we were £18 for 2nt stay. "

"This property was immaculate- decor beautiful bright and modern very clean as expected. Rather expensive as parking and breakfast not included Spa - good facilities but rather dark and not a fan of alcohol being served and consumed around the pool and jacuzzi Room was spacious bathroom a little cramp not enough hooks for wet swimwear/gown or to store personal toiletries. Would of expected face cloths and complementary tissues/cotton pads for five star establishment Bed pillows bed linen excellent. Would have preferred TV opposite the bed (not a picture of Polo players ?? ) Only had a bar meal which wasn’t great. Did not use the other restaurant as took advantage of fine weather and dined out in Bowness Lovely outside chill out area plenty of seating all the staff were lovely and very helpful. Shame the music aimed at 30- 40 plus (young professionals) which was fine but some a bit repetitive. Am sure a residential piano/keyboard/ saxophone player would add to the ambience of this hotel. Excellent distance to walk into Bowness Really enjoyable stay"

"The place is beautiful and the rooms are nice. However, I didn't not like behaviour of one receptionist at front desk. I just asked whether is there any lake view room available. She started with rudely telling no we are full and then she started telling, we have members who pays a lot of money so we give them those room first, and you just booked the room 10 days before. Our members have booked a year before. Well I didn't want that information with so much rudeness and arrogance, a simple no would have worked. On top of that, heater was not working in the main bedroom which we realised in night. after informing it reception they gave a spare electric heater and told it will be fixed next day morning. However, it was not fixed till we left the place which means for next 3 days. Apart from these I have really enjoyed my stay."

"Well-located hotel that is very convenient for working and also general exploring of the town. Could also be a good base to explore the Lakes. Good modern rooms with all the expected facilities - particularly liked the Chromecast in each room to give the option of watching what we like on the big screen. Only criticism is with the breakfast - sausages are overcooked, fried eggs or other options would be nice - and the coffee was not good at all. Just a jug of filter would be preferable to the machine being used."
