"Cliff House was a great stay for one night. The staff were very helpful. We stayed in a ground floor room opposite the carpark which was not the best in terms of view but OK for one night (given accessibility was more important). The room was clean and nicely decorated, it had a slightly musty smell perhaps because it was on the floor next to kitchens etc but overall fine. "Unfortunately I stayed on a Monday/ Tuesday when the bar and restaurant are closed so cannot give a review of any amenities. The room key was in a key lock external to the property. Room was clean and tidy and would definitely stop again but not on the days the bar / restaurant are closed."

"Lovely setting, great welcome, food superb, staff friendly and helpful We had the suite (kingfisher) which was an excellent room except for a radiator being stuck on in the bathroom. The lady in charge (lovely lass) managed to get it sorted as the outside temp was up in the 30’s!!! If I have any criticism of the room, a little use of bleach would have gone a long way but please don’t let that put you off. The place is very very good.
