I can't imagine a better place to stay. Utterly beautiful. Room was massive and comfy. The restaurant was beyond amazing. And the staff was lovely.
If you happen to get stranded in a small town in Germany, this is exactly the spot you want to be in.

Beautiful renovated castle in perfect location.
Very friendly owner that fullfilled is dream to call his home castle.
And it truly is.
Very good breakfast, that doesn't leave any wish unfulfilled.
Fresh breadrolls and different kinds of bread every morning.
The sourrounding of the caste is like travelong back in time, just perfect and peacefull......
But you better become an early bird,
Because at exact 04:30 Am the loud voice of an peacock will wake you up,
Followed by chicken...

A larger-than-life Luther greets you in the lobby, and still the hotel experience improves from there!
*The desk staff were amazing--helped us make restaurant reservations, gave directions, arranged taxis to the train, recognized members of our group who had been lost, etc.
*The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with some of the best bathrooms in the country.
*The breakfast is delicious, with a variety of hot dishes (eggs and meats) as well as cold cheeses, meats, breads, cereals, etc....

The room was clean, airy, and quiet. The bed was comfortable. The manager was nice. We felt safe and relaxed. We LOVED waking up in the old part of the city. We did not order the breakfast, although it looked very good when we walked past the breakfast room. We would love to stay here again!
