"Jean Paul was an amazing host who supplied us with lots of lovely apple juice and also really helped us when our car broke down. The house was lovely and had a BBQ which we didn't use but was always available. The village is very quaint with a very small shop for bread (and toothbrushes!). Being fairly remote you need a car but theres two large supermarkets about 5 mins away and Selestat offers lots of larger shops as well as good rain connections to Colmer, Basel and Strasbourg.
