"Very walkable to all of Basalt. Staff were friendly and helpful. Checkin was fairly quick and simple. Breakfast had some GF options. Biggest Con: Light was coming into the room via areas not covered by curtains - including street lights. There was also a lingering, unpleasant odor in the room."

Nice place close to the Frying Pan
"The location of the cabin is great! Great access to the Ruedi Reservoir and Frying Pan River. Place could be a bit cleaner as there is a bit of a mice problem, but not something I can complain too much about. Would still recommend as the cabin is nice spot to get away into nature."

Great news place to stay
"We had a great time and loved our stay at this place in basalt. The unit feels a bit older but worked well for us. We had some trouble getting the right code to access the garage from the manager but otherwise very smooth."

Basalt is a quaint town and is located between Aspen and Glenwood Springs. Few restaurants, so prepare for that. Very easy to take the RFTA bus to Aspen.
