"We had such a lovely time staying in this huge chateau. Very peaceful and simply a wonderful place to relax with our family. It is a little unusual in rural France to come across a holiday house with really high quality bathrooms / fittings etc. Please note, a few of the rooms don't have shutters / dark curtains which may or may not be important. Lovely rural retreat

"What a lovely house and fantastic grounds and pool for a great family holiday. We wanted a rural french experience and that's exactly what we got. Communication with the owner was excellent from start to finish, nothing was too much trouble. Would recommend!"

"Charming hotel but definitely not for the English speaking traveler. Hotel staff (the night we checked in) was unable/unwilling to assist us in securing a taxi, so we ended up leaving after just one (out of our non-refundable two!) night. Overall, disappointed with our experience. "

"The meals were expensive and were the same every night. Would struggle if staying more than 3 nights due to limited choice. Outdoor pool was not heated so extremely cold for swimming Indoor pool was fabulous with adjoining sauna and steam rooms but would work out very expensive at 22 euros for 2 hours. Not something to afford every day of the stay!"
