"We make this trip every year, towing our 18’ boat, and purposely stay at this place for its amenities and location. This year we were able to keep our double length parking spot(s) reserved with cones that management allowed us to borrow. Very convenient location for boaters. The attached restaurant is also very good, but we wished they served a full breakfast instead of grab-n-go sandwiches. "

"Staff was very pleasant and helpful! Room was very clean and comfortable. We loved the balcony and updated room. Hotel is a few minutes outside of town which we preferred. The drive up to the hotel was so nice, it's tucked away and the grounds are well taken care of. Absolutely would stay here again! "

"The motel is a nice property, close walking distance to the main stretch of restaurants and shops of Bar Harbor. We walked everywhere during the trip! What truly makes this place special is the hospitality. Every single person from day and night shift was so kind and welcoming. Susie and Danette were phenomenal. They were quick to provide recommendations for all areas of Mount Dessert Island. My boyfriend and I got engaged on this trip, and I had a friend call the front desk without our knowledge. Danette personally helped my friend (over the phone) get a bottle of champagne to our room to celebrate. You truly don’t get this type of hospitality just anywhere, and it made our trip that much more special. We highly recommend this place and will be back!"
