"A friend and I both stayed at Palazzo Scamozzi for 3 days during our first visit to Vicenza. It was conveniently located on the major shopping street reserved for pedestrian traffic and close to many dining choices. Be sure to go off the main drag to find some of these. The people staffing the front desk at the hotel were wonderful - suggesting places to dine and sharing information on walkable attractions. The included breakfast service started with a cheerful Buon Giorno from the staff at the expresso bar and included an option for a made to order plate of eggs and meat in addition to the generous cold buffet selections. I would definitely stay here again and can recommend it to others. "

"The hotel is a former 18th century villa set in the Berico hills just a short distance from Vicenza. It is beautifully maintained by a staff that could not be more attentive. Breakfast and dinner were excellent. We especially enjoyed cocktails on the patio overlooking the lawn and hills in the fistance."

"Great for two night stay near Bassano del Grappa. Only downside if that is important, was the town is a 20min walk so a little far after many grappa tastings. Restaurant is excellent but on the pricy side to eat there every night but is recommended once in the stay. Bed mattress one of us found a bit hard the other was okay with it so it depends what you prefer. Choice of pillows was great though. Excellent choice at breakfast especially considering not many guests during our stay but the breakfast buffet was fully loaded with wide choice."
