I book 2 deluxe rooms & 1 normal room. 2 deluxe rooms clean & cold but normal room. Air con spoil, hot. Please improve this

Towels are brownish in colour, so don't dare to use them. Wifi connection is unstable and keep dropping. I put the tag on the door to request to make up my room, but nobody came to do that. When I asked for the 2 complimentary bottles of water, the reception said they ran out of it and will give me 4 bottles tomorrow which doesn't help as I'm checking out the next day. The AC is just outside the window and you’ll hear the noise throughout the night. The only good thing is the location, really near to eateries, massage plaves and shopping mall. Although the room is cheap, I won't be staying here again.

너무 축축함

너무 축축해서 곰팡이가 폈어요... 에어컨을 쎄개 틀어도 축축함이 느껴져서... 3박중에 1박하고 다른데로 옮겼네요... 전체적으로 가성비는 끝내줘요 바로앞에 몰도있고 위치는 좋습니다.

Pros - close to BCS, food area. rates are great only if you’re not fussed and looking for very basic accommodation Cons - yellowish & torn bedding, no windows, yellow towels for the room we stayed, suggest to bring your own towels. Maybe it’s just the lowest priced rooms as we saw another window room with cleaner bedding and towels. It’s a no Grab zone meaning grab can’t pick you up from there.

Clean and Affordable

Hotel was clean and room was well maintained, although it's a little small. The walls aren't really soundproof so my friends could not sleep as well because the other rooms were making too much noise. Location and convenience is a big selling point for this hotel. I paid about $26 for a room with 2 beds

Front desk female staff ( chubby, not wearing glasses & spoke distorted Teochew/Hokkien) on Jan 28th around 1pm was extremely rude, unprofessional & offensive. it’s the worst experience I had w a hotel in Batam it’s gave me a negative experience. COMSUMER ALERT: I’m pretty sure the so call ‘excellent’ & ‘good’ ratings & reviews .... majority r POSTED BY STAFF / OWNER. I’m not the typical complaining consumer but this horrid female staff take the cake of providing truly a miserable stay. Eatern is a MOTEL not a hotel n such horrendous experience make it more like a JOINT. it is located at the seedy area near the Mall and there were strange looking men placing their feet up at Eatern tiny lobby almost all hours of the day. For the same price and without complimentary breakfast GO TO HOTEL VANILLA ( nearby) instead.

Value for money budget hotel! With good service.

Eatern Hotel is a small budget hotel located right opposite the big BCS mall. Its convenient location is ideal for travellers who wanted to have a short stay in Batam to explore the mall, restaurants, spa and local market by foot! - Location: BCS mall is 2min walk from hotel. Thai Best massage is few steps from the hotel’s main entrance. Local market is a short 6min walk. Local style restaurant selling fish and yam soup, porridge, noddles, juices is right next to the hotel. Extremely convenient and accessible location! - Room: Clean and comfortable. Aircon and shower water are powerful. Wi-Fi is good speed. Simple amenities, just tooth brush and bath towel. - Service: Friendly and helpful reception staff who speak good English! - F&B: There isn’t breakfast served at the hotel but it is very easy to get breakfast, kopi, breads, fruits etc from the nearby stores. - Overall: Pleasant and comfortable room. Value for money stay.

Very convenient location

Ok for short stay. Advise to bring own towel. We stayed at 2nd floor so can just use the stairs, no need to wait for the lift. For this price, the room is acceptable. Lobby male staff attended to my request immediately, very efficient.
