"This was a lovely home to stay in. The views of the river and the grounds with beautiful landscaping. It was secluded and very quiet. The owner had special touches throughout the home. We enjoyed kayakaing on the river - there were 4 kayaks to choose from. While we didn't get in the hot tub, it was nice knowing there was one if we had chosen to use it. We would definitely suggest staying here!"

"How soon can I go back? I can't say enough about this lake house. We hung out on the dock for hours, and when the breeze picked up we hung out on the top deck of the cabin instead--it's protected from wind by trees. When one day it started raining, we moved to the lower deck, which is sheltered by the top deck. Any one of those spots would make the cabin worthwhile, but being able to move between the three takes it to the next level. Meg and Wes were incredible hosts, responsive within minutes when we texted. The bed was super cozy and the house is better stocked than any vacation rental I've been to. We loved our time there."

"My two friends and I needed a Plan B when our backpacking trip had rain expected all three days. We found Shawn Kendra’s place and immediately knew it was a perfect option. We slept incredibly well, and had so much fun cooking in the small but mighty kitchen, made fires in the beautiful fireplace, went for a leisurely kayak, and explored the eclectic art, collectibles, movie and music selection. We also had an amazing horse riding experience just 15 minutes away via a recommendation from Shawn. 10/10 stay—hope we get to come visit again next year!!"
