  • Offering light and cosy accommodation for up to three guests, this charming and characterful cottage lies in the northern part of Bath, providing a quiet getaway for history lovers and walkers discovering this vibrant spa city. The property sits in a quiet mews within easy reach of a range of friendly restaurants, pubs and shops. The Circus and the Assembly Rooms are both nearby, as is the Royal Crescent which leads through to the tranquil Royal Victoria Park. To the south is the main part of the city, with busy shopping centres, thriving venues such as Komedia and the Theatre Royal, and some major historic sites including Bath Abbey, the Pump Room and the Roman Baths. Crossing the River Avon, the eastern part of Bath is home to the peaceful Sydney Gardens and Henrietta Park, or you can head north to explore the spellbinding countryside of the Cotswolds.

    A narrow porch leads into the property where you will be greeted by the bright and inviting open-plan lounge/diner. The peaceful lounge has a TV, a DVD player, comfortable seating and a selection of books to browse, with the dining table over by the side. From the lounge, step through into the sleek and stylishly arranged kitchen which has plenty of equipment so you can prepare your favourite dishes. Heading upstairs, you will find an invigorating bathroom with a quirky porthole window, which is equipped with a shower over the bath and a WC. The first floor also has two cosy bedrooms: a pretty superking-size room which can be made up as a twin on request, and a cheery single. Both rooms have plenty of storage space.


    Stepping outside, the property has the benefit of its own allocated parking space for one hatchback car. A short stroll will take you across to the Circus and along to the peaceful expanses of the Royal Crescent and Royal Victoria Park.

Beautiful property set in a quiet courtyard with parking bay, the house itself was well equipped, with everything we needed. Lovely lounge/dining area to relax. comfortable Beds with lots of wardrobe space.Minutes from the Royal cresent, Restaraunts & cafe's plus grocery store . Easy stroll into the centre of Bath.Great communication with hosts, easy check-in , would highly recommend this property . We loved our stay in Bath, hope to return again.

Perfect location

We stayed in Bath for a book festival held at the Assembly Rooms and couldn’t be happier with the location. The accommodation was clean and functional, with a well-equipped kitchen, and a bath as well as a shower. Parking was tight but a rarity in central Bath and much appreciated. Also grateful for the welcoming touches like fresh milk, biscuits, and fudge. A great location with a rare parking space, would recommend.

Great location; Needs a good cleaning

Good location with parking. Furniture is tired and needs replacing. Read previous review about roaches and there are currently no roaches but roach traps were under one bed. Kitchen was well stocked but needed a deep cleaning. We had a hard time with heat controls and contacted property manager and didn’t get a reply until the next day. Stairs are steep. Would not stay here again.

Overall is was OK

It was clean. Overall I would give it high marks even though going to point out some negatives. It was very difficult for us to find it. It took 45 phone calls to the property manager, who ended up being quite helpful, to locate the property. It was advertised as being 0.2 miles from the town center (or a least that was the impression). It was not particularly close to anything except Chequers (SP?) Bar. A big advantage of staying here is the off-street parking. It was a very narrow spot, but it was extremely convenient. It also would have been nice if there were British to US electric converters available. We forgot ours, which was totally our fault. All things considered, I would stay there again.

Great location and accommodation for a stay in Bath and surroundings

Perfect location and amenities for any length of stay in Bath, invaluable to have dedicated parking space, saved so much money and time. Would highly recommend to anyone not allergic to dogs, as a dog hairs on sofa and rug in lounge.

Wonderful stay for my teanage daughter and I.

Lovely accommodation, very comfortable, all mod cons, own parking space, very centrally located so made visiting Bath so easy. Close to range of sites and restaurants and cafes, with small local supermarkets to stock up quickly on arrival.

A perfect location to explore Bath on foot

We had a wonderful and comfortable stay here. The location is perfect - near enough to everything that we didn't use the car once, but peaceful and quiet at night with very little passing traffic. The house is warm and well equipped, a real home from home.

Very centrally located property, walking distance from the main Bath attractions and very close to the local Co-Op corner shop /supermarket - good range of products there. The house was very clean, well-equipped kitchen, very comfortable beds. I would recommend it for a nice family stay.

Lovely property ideally located for walking into Bath

We thoroughly enjoyed our break in this lovely little mews house. The property offers all you could need for a relaxing holiday and it was an easy walk into Bath. The parking space was an added bonus :-).

Lovely meet and greet by Sara, fabulous stay and wonderful extras like the mulled wine! My only critic is that the single bedroom needs a curtain, when having a much needed break away it's nice to have a lie in!!

Circus Mews was a lovely house, ideal with the parking space and for easy access to the centre of Bath and all the attractions. We really enjoyed our stay. If we were to visit Bath again we would certainly choose to stay at Circus Mews.

Excellent location, quiet property.

We would recommend this cosy property in the Circle Mews area of Bath. The house is perfect for three people with good furnishings and a well-equipt kitchen. There is parking behind the house, and the interior is warm and well-laid out.

Charming, central, functional.

Charming house, very quiet and still only steps away from Bath centre. Nicely decorated and fully functional. The front entrance is on River Street Mews, just around the corner from Circus Mews. We greatly enjoyed our stay.

Lovely bijou residence in quiet area yet close to Bath centre

Well maintained and every comfort provided for - we slept like logs in the very comfy and large bed. Thoughtful gift of wine, milk, biccies and muesli meant we were well supplied. A short walk to excellent cafes for breakfast and restaurants and all of Bath's tourist spots. Highly recommended.
