"Breakfast was very slow unfortunately.. but very nice when it did arrive. I also thought our room would be in the main historic part of the building you see advertised on the website, but our room was within an add on annexe part of the hotel with an internal view?"

"Top notch stay all around. Beautiful hotel, friendly staff, and location was central to everything. One piece of advice: we made the mistake of booking spa treatments with Thermae instead of the Gainsborough - we should definitely have booked with the hotel. Their facilities were far superior to Thermae's! Highly recommend!"

"Very nice hotel in brilliant position very near to all attractions. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, especially Sally such a joy to be round. The breakfast was excellent and staff very professional when serving. Room very good, clean and comfortable. Will definitely stay there again when next in Bath."

"We chose a Cozy (Small) room, which was certainly adequate. The staff were extremely helpful - the General Manager carried our bags to our rooms. My daughter's room had a bathtub/Shower which suited her. My room had a walk-in shower which was great due to my balance and mobility problems. The breakfast was superb - including my daughter's vegetarian option. I strongly recommend this charming hotel."
