About this property
Steps from the water with a private dock, a big relaxing porch & great amenities
Our cute and cozy cabin is steps from the water of Back Creek. Bring your boat and come out for a relaxing stay! Don't forget the poles. There's plenty of fish right out your front door. The cabin itself has all the comforts of home. It is open spaced with a full kitchen, queen bed and two chairs that convert into single cots. Our peaceful porch is perfect for a cookout, napping on our lounge for two with mosquito netting or just watching the fish jump. The space The picturesque and quiet town of Bath is North Carolina’s oldest town and port of entry. Bath is home to less than 300 folks and was the stomping grounds of Edward Teach, the infamous pirate Blackbeard. Located on the Pamlico river, there is water everywhere. Our property is peaceful and serene with a large and inviting porch. Our home sits on the back of the property while the cabin is steps from the water and dock. Our cabin is designed for two or a small family. While we can sleep four, it is one open space with no bedroom for privacy. You can bring 4 adults, but the chairs that convert to cots aren’t great for older backs and we DO NOT recommend unless you want to tough it out. Children will sleep just fine. We are in walking distance to all that Bath has to offer. There is a visitor’s center, two restaurants, a store, shops and several historic sites. We’ve even got an ABC store! Goose Creek State Park is only 6 miles away. It has beautiful hiking trails and private sandy beaches. We hope to host you soon! Guest access You are welcome to wander anywhere on our property!

The cabin was clean, cozy and had a very cute theme. It was perfect for a weekend getaway. We had everything we needed and appreciated the pet friendly touches. I’d definitely recommend booking to enjoy a coffee with a view. :)
This is a great location to visit with excellent accommodations. Carmen and Darryl were excellent hosts with whom you would like to share a glass of wine. Carman even facilitated our kayak adventure.
This Bath cabin is a wonderfully adorable place to relax and let go. The space is beautifully designed and decorated on a terrific waterfront. Highly recommended.
Couldn't have asked for a lovelier place to stay! Communication was excellent. The cabin was adorable, with plenty of room for the two of us (the back porch was a big hit). And being in town during Bath Fest was a huge plus. 10/10 would stay again!!
Phenomenal stay at Water's Edge!!! The host were fabulous!!! The house was extremely convenient to the waters edge with a wonderful fishing pier. We will definately stay again!!!!!
My husband and I spent three nights at Carmen and Darryl’s guest cottage while attending a family reunion and couldn’t have been more pleased with everything about it. It’s clean and comfortable with a wonderful view. We love Bath and have spent much time there with family as our children grew up so this was a nostalgic trip for us. This wonderful little cottage made our weekend even more special.
This little cabin is so nice and has been decorated with such bright and happy colors. It is right at the shoreline and the view of the water is so relaxing any time of day. I especially like the early and late evening. It is small for 4 adults, but our 2 grown daughters didn't mind for just a couple of nights. Much better than just a hotel room. We hope to be able to go back sometime. I give it an A!
I am so happy I found this little slice of heaven. Such a cute cottage, with everything you need. The hosts are very thoughtful and communicative. It’s great if you don’t want to necessarily be around other people, but you also have that option. Weather was perfect and got some beautiful photos around the area. Will definitely be back with more folks. (And my kayak)
Thank you for an amazing stay!
We travel 1 long weekend a month and since I’ve never been to Bath yet, i thought that was the perfect location for our little family of 4 to visit .. we will definitely be back. It was a beautiful property, everything was incredibly clean, it was quiet and private. They had more than enough for us to be completely comfortable and feel right at home. We caught the last little bit of winter and it was absolutely Gorgeous! Could not have asked for a better host. If I could rate this higher than a 10/10 I absolutely would.
The guest house was beautifully designed and just what we needed. The pictures of the vee were beautiful and the whole atmosphere was very relaxing, I wish we had had more time to just relax.
We were ao happy that there was a full.kitchen to make breakfast and lunch, because I have food allergies and the weeding food did not meet my needs. We also lived the coffe bar and the multiple options. We hope.to.come again. Thank youfor o
What an adorable cabin! Owners clearly had a lot of fun decorating, but what really stood out was the many touches that made the stay so easy and comfortable: wide variety of coffees and teas; plenty of ice; mosquito netting over the outside lounger; a kitchen that was as well-appointed as my own; a dog bowl (we don't have a dog, but how nice anyway!); and, what I thought was really sweet, a little basket under the bathroom sink that had soft socks to pad around in if you needed them! The neighborhood is quiet. The dock is soothing to sit on or beside, and the lapping of the water on the bulkhead was a perfect sound to drift off to sleep with. Moonrise over the water. And an adorable town to wander around in easy walking distance, plus a diner up the street. What's not to like? Thank you, Carmen and Darryl!
Absolutely beautiful place and peaceful area! Host were very accommodating, super helpful and friendly! Would highly recommend for a peaceful, relaxing getaway!
This was the perfect getaway for me and my husband. We wanted to unwind after the holidays. The cabin was so quaint, it had everything you could think of and more. Being on the water, sitting on the deck or porch was so relaxing. The hosts were very nice and easy to communicate with. Will definitely be back.
Awesome time here! Couldn't have asked for a better location/scenery for a relaxing weekend. The hosts (Carmen and Darryl) were excellent. They added a lot of small touched that really made this weekend great!
