Loved everything about this weekend getaway!

Greatstay as part of a longer trip. Room is very spacious. The kitchen had everything and was great. Fridge was a nice size. There is a nice sitting area. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The bathroom is clean. The hotel overall is pretty modern. Brandon at the front desk was great. He acknowledged my silver status and gave us cold welcome waters. Tanya was working the desk upon arrival and she greeted me with a very bright smile and welcome. She was very pleasant and efficient. Check in took less than a minute.

Could not have been a better experience. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable. The bathroom amenities were plentiful (and smelled amazing). The breakfast area had a lot to chose from. But it was the staff that was the best. Emily was most helpful and we will definitely be back.

We had the oldest cabin on the property, and we arrived super late—after midnight —and were greeted with grace and kindness. Everyone who works at The Myrtles is friendly and helpful, and the property is very well maintained. Must say it was very charming to awaken in the morning with chickens on our porch and ducks next door to our cabin :) Having raised Rhode Island Reds at our home, we know that breed can be cranky - but the ones at the Myrtles were absolute sweethearts! This property is amazing with luxury detail to everything. The decor is French colonial and the gardens are recreations of Versailles. The beds are exceptionally comfortable and the bathroom modern with a large shower. No detail has been overlooked. The thing I enjoyed most was the River Road Museum which comprehensively covers the history of the area. I was amazed to see the death mask of Napoleon there. If anything was lacking it was the buffet breakfast but all buffets to me are in enjoyable....

The room was very clean, plenty of towels, a gift bag, and the breakfast was great! I shall be back. Thanks.

Nice location

We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. Italy checked us in, and was extremely pleasant. Italy recommended a restaurant to us, that was amazing. I don’t have enough time to go into detail about what a wonderful employee Italy is, and how kind and helpful she was for us. Will definitely stay here in the future, it’s the perfect location to LSU. My kids loved the pool, and enjoyed it.

Very far from the airport was the only issue.
