Relaxing Waterfront Getaway with Fenced in Pet Friendly Property

Enjoy a nice getaway in this fully furnished two bedroom/2 bath home on the bayou. The living room has a great view of the bayou and its wildlife and is furnished with all the comforts of home. Relax with a nice cup of coffee or a glass of wine on the screened in porch. The kitchen has all the necessary appliances and spices, as well as a large island with plenty of bar stools. Both bedrooms have queen sized beds, one full bath in hallway and the other in the bedroom. The yard is large, fenced in with gate across driveway, a dock that is fenced, hammock for relaxing and even a fish cleaning station!

Property is just minutes away from all of the areas best attractions, including the Hollywood Casino/Golf course, Silver Slipper Casino, shopping and nightlife in Bay St. Louis, as well as public fishing piers and marinas, and beautiful beaches.

Public boat launches are within 10 minutes of the property, ie Cedar Point Park (10 min), Washington Pier (10 min), Bay Marina (5 min), Silver Slipper Casino (20 min), Pass Christian Harbor (20 min) to name a few. I have a dock, but not a boat launch.

Bodega's on Main Street has rentals for golf carts, bicycles, surf boards. See photo for phone number.

Suggested restaurants/bars in the area include Cuzs, Blind Tiger, 200 North Beach, Trapanis, Bodegas, Mockingbird Cafe, Buoys, Tripletails and Danbes. In Pass Christian (10 minutes away across the bay st louis bridge) Bacchus and Shaggy's. Live music on the weekends in town.

Wonderful stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property itself is fantastic and the location is so convenient to everything in Bay St. Louis, but is still quiet and peaceful. Would absolutely recommend to anyone traveling to the MS gulf coast.

Beautiful property next to the river.

Our son enjoyed fishing off the dock in the backyard. The neighbor hood was very quiet and peaceful. The house was very comfortable, both couples had their own bed and bath. Very scenic less than 2 miles from the Gulf. Very relaxing, comfortable stay.

Enjoyed the quiet neighborhood, birding, and porch after busy days in New Orleans. Quick drive to waterfront for eating, shopping, and beach time. House was exactly what we needed. Host communicative and very helpful.

The location is the right size for four adults. The kitchen and available kitchen appliances and supplementary spices and cookware are the best and most thought out of any VRBO I have been. I’ve never had a bad manager experience. All of been pleasant. But Kim is the best as far as accommodations and communication. Add the screened porch over the bayou and close location to everything we want to do in Bay St. Louis, and it is a beyond excellent property. Since the property is fully fenced, it was also great and safe for my dog and I to get a few fetch games in.

This property has the best location for a quick last minute getaway! Secluded but yet close to the local activities and views! Wonderful nice and attentive host! The host made our stay even better I love her communication and helpfulness me and my family will be coming back for sure!

Laid back and secluded. Rarely saw a vehicle drive by. But, at the most, 5 minutes from the beaches and Old Town. Close enough to drive a golf cart. It was the perfect blend of both worlds and great for our dogs.

We had everything that could ever be needed/wanted. The area was very peaceful, and quiet. Good eats nearby, and not difficult to locate, A great, comfortable stay, and we would definitely stay there again.Some instructs on how to operate the entertainment systems would help.

Peace and tranquility

Great little place to just relax. The screened porch was our hangout. Our little dogs loved watching the cardinals and squirrels play. Peace and quiet but still close to restaurants and stores.

Perfect stay

We had a great time even though only a short overnight stay. The kids loved playing outside and exploring the water and the forest like surrounding. The hammock was awesome after the sun went down and the stars came out. The neighborhood was very quiet, we did not see 1 person. The boardwalk in town was a great small town experience. Will definitely be rebooking next time we are in the area.
