"While passing through Scott's Bluff I booked this hotel off Expedia with nice photos, good reviews, and with a reasonable price. I didn't quite know what to expect with its location and outward appearance. I was pleasantly surprised to find a spacious room awaiting me which was of exceptional quality, especially for what I paid. The bar area looked great and very enticing as a great place to have a drink and talk to fellow travelers. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They specialize as an event space and recently added the hotel component to complement it. It is a great hotel to book for any occasion."

"Desk clerks were a little on the quiet side which can some times across unfriendly. I’m in customer service myself so I completely understand. Aside from that breakfast was great.pool was fun and cool with a perfect temp hot tub to relax. Thanks for a comfy place to lay my head on a five day stay for training. "

"It was 104 when we checked in. I asked for change since there was no ice they didn’t have cash. The room was very nice. The handicap bathroom shower was great until I stepped out. That beautiful floor is like an ice rink when wet. There are no grab bars outside the shower stall and the floor is very slippery and there’s nothing to steady yourself after you step out "

"HIE is our favorite place to stay, and Scottsbluff was fine. I was disappointed that my membership was never mentioned at check-in, and I received no offer for perks for the first time since I've been a member. But the rooms and breakfast were GREAT as always. We rely heavily on HIE and will continue to do so."
