"We were on a bit of a road trip in France and had decided to spend a couple of days in Normandy after coming off the ferry. Easy to find and well located for the WW2 historical sites in the area. The hotel is lovely and the hosts could not be more accommodating (e.g. we got an early checkin). The breakfasts were excellent and we had an evening meal there as well - again excellent. The room was clean and had a nice bathroom with a separate toilet."

"Our stay at Logis de Saint Jean was wonderful. Valérie was very welcoming and her home is beautiful. Each morning she prepared a delicious breakfast (we’re big fans of her Tarte Normande). Bayeux and the surrounding areas were absolutely gorgeous and my husband and I are already planning planning to return to Normandy in the future."

"Lovely hotel right in the middle of the village so really easy to walk to restaurants etc. Themed hotel with very knowledgeable and friendly owner. The museum in the square definitely worth a visit."

"It's hard to imagine a better way to explore Bayeux and the Normandy area than to stay for three nights with Gilles and Michael at their lovely small inn. We shall always recall their warm hospitality, helpful suggestions, delicious breakfasts, spacious grounds; and the interiors of the wonderful old home.
