"Everything about the resort was good. Very clean and in good shape. There was some resturants in the area that was cheeper but the high quality on the resort meals was worth the price difference! There was a short walk to the beach and it was nice to go for walks along the beach."

"Location of the lodge is real highlight. Right on the shoreline with the sea view on one side, three other sides face greenery of surrounding mangroves with water level changes wih tidal cycles. "I just returned from a 9 night stay avdchete are my observations: The hotel is very centrally located and just seconds away from the beach and the main bars and restaurants. It has good sound proofing so no disruption to sleep or rest. They have backup power generators so no disruption to air conditioning, hot water etc. There are lots of stray dogs around but they don't bother you. The area felt safe but Blue Velvet has 24 hour security for peace of mind. The restaurant staff are great...
