"I did not like the fact that on-line this property claimed to have a restaurant. They DID NOT have a restaurant which was OPEN. A 10-15 minute walk away was a take-out pizza joint. To reach an actual restaurant required a taxi ride there and back. They do have a kitchen, and the morning breakfast (included) was excellent."

"I really enjoyed my stay. It’s nice to have such a lovely hotel in this area, and it’s a great incentive to explore the south of Malta. I had a small problem with my room at first, but the reception staff kindly let me stay in another room for one night and then move back to my original room once the issue had been resolved. The room also had a perfect amount of natural light coming in, which made it feel very comfortable and relaxing. All of the staff members were very positive, which really added to the atmosphere. The breakfast restaurant was also very vibrant and elegant, and they served really good coffee."

"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully designed, but the highlight was definitely the breathtaking view. Waking up every morning to the peaceful scenery and watching the sunset from the balcony made the experience unforgettable. The staff was warm, welcoming, and always helpful, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The location was perfect, quiet and relaxing while still close to everything we needed."

"This is a beautiful, peaceful property staffed by the most helpful and friendly people. The reception is always manned with welcoming, knowledgeable staff who cater for your every need. The bedrooms are spotless and cleaned daily. The beds and bedding are excellent. Very comfortable and luxurious sheeting and pillows. The bathrooms are well stocked with toiletries etc and slippers and dressing gowns supplied. The restaurant is housed in a beautiful characterful room. Breakfast is buffet style and there is plenty of options. However, it is a continental arrangement and anyone expecting a full English may be disappointed. The pool area is beautiful and carefully maintained. Plenty of towels available and the pool bar has a well stocked bar providing great cocktails. In warmer months the roof top pool area also has a restaurant and bbq nights. During cooler months the main restaurant is open in the evening for fabulous a la carte meals. The village of Ghaxaq is very quiet but the hotel is only a 5 minute walk to the bus stop. From here you can travel cheaply to other areas. Ultimately, any business is only as good as the staff who man it. Every member of staff from Nirosha on reception and her colleagues, the wonderful friendly cleaners, bar and restaurant staff and pool man, all work so hard to make your stay perfect!!"

"We had a lovely, well kept room 1 block away from the Port. Eady walking distance to restaurants. What's Ap communication were answered promptly. We were able to find street parking. Lovely, colorful port."

"Property is in excellen condition, lovely large room (superior), and only 3 minutes walk to the towns promenade. Only drawback, which was not the accommodations fault, was the reconstruction of road and adjacent pavement. Noisy during the day, but unless you plan to stay in your room all day its no big deal.Works will be shortlived, dont let this discourage you from staying here, would highly recommend it."

"Check in was smooth, received code for entrance and door day before. Building very clean, room very clean and had everything that we needed for our 5 day trip. Did not try breakfast as we did our own thing and got a few bits as we had a fridge. Shop across the road which was very good and stocked fresh bread daily. Very close to harbour and restaurants. The only tiny negative was the lack of staff around to answer questions, mostly done on WhatsApp but we were ok with that but could affect your stay if you aren’t so tech or WhatsApp savvy but overall we had an excellent trip, we loved Marsaxlokk and Malta, would definitely stay again at Dun Gorg Guesthouse"
