"Burnham beeches is a beautiful hotel in wonderful surroundings. Check-in can be completed digitally but if there are any issues with this or anything else, there doesn't seem to be enough members of staff to deal with the number of guests. As a result, when attempting to get help with something non-check in related, we were met but obviously busy and perhaps not the friendliest of staff members. Also, beware of the free bike offer. Although great, you are not told before arrival that you need to download an app. This is tricky with phone reception poor outside the hotel and wifi that doesn't quite reach where the bikes are stored. If you experience any problems over a weekend, there is no helpline support and staff are ill-equipped to resolve any problems. Also beware of £5 charge to use the gym and pool. This is not mentioned when booking."
