Theres a Dollar General a mile away if you need the basics & Hannah's Cafe is even closer. I highly recommend their burgers & onion rings! "Our stay was wonderful. The home is beautiful and immaculately kept with all the utensils and towels you could need. Only complaints are the oven didn’t seem to regulate the temperature like it should. The upstairs also got exceptionally hot while downstairs was cold. The interior of the home feels very dark at night and could benefit from brighter lighting. The exterior was also lacking lights by the hot tub area, which could present a safety concern . All of that said, we would stay here again...

"Wonderful place to stay! Wonderful accommodations both inside and outside! Well stocked kitchen, comfy beds, clean home, screened in back deck with seating, table, and hot tub. Great working grill and well stocked woodpile for the fire pit. Our family loved fishing off the dock, kayaking, and paddle boarding. The owners were wonderful to work with and we would love to return!"

"We were in town for my Doctorial graduation at LMU and this place was absolutely perfect! It was a short drive into the school. The place was very clean, quiet and a beautiful view! The spa on the deck was wonderful in the cold weather. We absolutely loved it!!!"

"Gorgeous home in a beautiful setting! The home accomodated our family of 6 + grandparents + a friend! Plenty of space to spread out and the bunk room was a huge hit for the kids. We loved fishing and kayaking on the lake, relaxing in the hot tub and enjoying the fire pit. If traveling with a large party I would definitely bring extra paper towels, toilet paper and trash bags as only a few were provided. Other than that a great vacation spot!"

"Overall it was a nice house, with easy access to all things around Douglas Lake. The only downsides were that we had to wash the sheets, as one set was not clean, with some dirt and trash in the bed. Also, there was no hairdryer, contrary to what was listed in the amenities."

"We had an absolute wonderful time, and experience at this home, and the location on the lake. The home was exactly as the pictures show, and more. Everything we needed was there for use, including more beach “lake” towels, plenty of towels & also shampoo & conditioner were there if needed. The home was very clean, and super cute (very well decorated), and over all a great experience for our family. We will definitely consider this property in our future visits to Norris Lake."
