"We had a wonderful stay from start to finish. We were greeted warmly at reception, and checked into an incredibly spacious room with balcony. The hotel is centrally located and it was easy to pop out to walk to the beach or shops, and also to hop in the car and explore further. We enjoyed the spacious indoor/outdoor pool while the roof was partially retracted. We also had the breakfast buffet the next morning, which had more than enough options for both kids and adults. We would definitely stay here again, and regretted making this a shorter trip!"

"The room was very nice unfortunately for me. The bed was way too hard. It’s a mercy bed so hard. I tried to sleep on the couch, but that was uncomfortable as well. If they updated those two things the day would be absolutely perfect other than those two, everything was great."

"The condo itself was good. There were a few minor issues, such as worn-out couches and weak Wi-Fi, but overall it was a comfortable stay.The reason for our lower rating is due to the communication with the owners. When we checked in, we noticed a water stain and sent a photo to the owners. They replied that they were already aware of it. The next day, a man knocked on our door, introduced himself as Ray, said he was the owner, and asked to come inside. He looked at the water spot, then stayed for about 30 minutes chatting about unrelated matters.Upon checkout, I messaged the owners and suggested giving guests a heads-up before anyone comes by in the future. The owner responded that she hadn’t sent anyone and didn’t know who the visitor was. When I followed up with the time and details of the visit, I did not receive any further response.This was very concerning and left us feeling uneasy. If you stay here, it may be best not to open the door to unexpected visitors unless the owners notify you ahead of time."

"The Pilot House was absolutely wonderful for our family. A welcoming home with the bonus of a relaxing pool area where we spent much of our time. Our host Rosemary was super responsive and had great information about the area. Bethany is a fabulous beach with a small town feel and the location of this house was fabulous ... close enough to be convenient, but a little ways away from the noise and bustle of town. I highly recommend and would stay here again in a heartbeat!!!! "

"Very nice condo! We regret not seeing where we were supposed to bring our own bedding so we are disappointed in having to wash it before leaving but we will know for next time. As an electrician is here he sees a few issues that should be addressed... Ceiling fan switch, fire alarm in bedroom, bathroom light and garage overhead door. The pool staff were so nice to use we really enjoyed it here! Thank you"
