"Desk staff very rude, lazy, nonchalant, and unhelpful! First, I did not get the king room I requested in advance and was confirmed for, and the only explanation I was told was that the hotel was "overbooked" and that if I did not like it, I could "go elsewhere." Ridiculous! Then, the hotel's ice machine was not working and did not work my entire stay--in a city experiencing 90+ degree heat! The breakfast was blah! Also, housekeeping failed to make the beds after 2 days (their policy) but cleaned only the bathroom area. Very uncool, and the sraff was again clueless and rude about that. Staff also failed to provide a printed receipt until I asked. Not at all what I expected in a Hilton hotel. Will try to avoid them again, and again very disappointed with using the Hotels.com app process!! Twice burned!! The next and LAST time I will use yr service will be solely to cash in my earned points--then I'll use another reservation service going forward."
