"I recently stayed at the hotel while attending a Forbes event and was surprised by the early start of maintenance work on the ocean-facing terrace. Beginning at 7:00 a.m., there was noticeable drilling and worker activity directly outside the balcony. Given that the hotel was fully occupied by Forbes attendees, it is unclear why such disruptive work needed to begin so early. The noise significantly impacted the guest experience, and I understand that several other guests shared similar concerns. This may be an area worth reviewing to better align operational activities with guest expectations, particularly during high-profile events."

"Fantastic location. Lobby is in good condition. The room I was given ( even as a platinum elite Bonvoy member) was quite dated especially in the bathroom. Staff was helpful. "

The bathroom had issues as well: the tub would fill with water while showering, and the sink was leaking (both were eventually fixed after we reported them). The overall condition of the hotel feels quite run down. The hallways had an unpleasant smell, and the general upkeep just isn’t what you’d expect from a Marriott property. The bed was extremely hard I actually had to request an extra blanket just to make it more comfortable to sleep on. Towels were also poor quality, which added to the experience. On a positive note, the breakfast was good, and the rooftop view is beautiful. But overall, the hotel needs serious improvement. For the price and brand, it was very disappointing. "
