"The photos do not do this property justice. Never stayed in a French village before so a bit reticent however what a lovely place. Secure, private, yet open and spacious. Inside the main property the open living area works very well and the smaller gite was an added bonus especially due to the added kitchen space and utilities on offer. "We spent a lovely, relaxing two weeks at Chez Sophie. The house was ideally located for us as local amenities were in easy walking distance and lots of lovely local walks. There are some fantastic local places to visit within a short drive and some great places to eat as well. We had a few teething issues primarily as we were the first visitors of the season but this did not impact how much we enjoyed our time and holiday. The garden is great for dogs as secure and very spacious."

"Charroux is a beautiful and quiet place to stay and this cottage mirrors that. The location is very private and not overlooked, and the cottage has perfect views over the countryside. Exactly as described, we will be visiting again. Tim was also extremely helpful and responsive."

"We spent 8 nights at Maison L’allee at the end of August. It had everything we needed. Beautiful pool that was exceptionally well maintained. The accommodation is spacious and very well equipped. "Lovely location and spacious living. Only downside is the number of steps especially between rooms. Not for anyone who has problems with stairs. "Lovely gite, nice couple very friendly but unfortunately whilst decor etc was lovely for me the basics need tweaking a bit ie: no freeze box, no blinds in the bedrooms, no WiFi and I had to climb into the bath to set the taps for the children to have a shower/bath which I found quite difficult with an arthritic hip.
