"We loved this house! We cooked all of our meals in the well stocked kitchen, enjoyed coffee on the deck with views of Lake Michigan, played games and watched movies, and all slept great in comfortable beds with plenty of space. Kids loved rock hunting at the beach. Cannot think of anything that would have made it better. Longer drive from town but we knew that and were ok with it. Short drive to the nice beach at iron ore bay and the old light house. Check the binder for maps and tours! We didn’t bbq or have bonfires because fire danger was high the week we were there, but there’s a nice fire pit on the beach that looked fun- just be prepared to shift plans if necessary! We have nothing negative to say, truly loved our stay. Just for others reading reviews though- the bedrooms don’t have blinds or shades, so if you need a dark room to sleep plan accordingly. We thought it might be an issue since our kids go to bed before sunset in the summer, but they were so worn out from our activities all day that they slept just fine. "

"This is an absolutely beautiful place, lovingly built and lovingly maintained. It was spotlessly clean when we arrived and had everything we needed plus plenty more. I can't say with certainty how big it is, but the point is that it feels spacious, roomy, airy, and with plenty of light, both natural and from overhead fixtures. Of course, we spent most of our time outside, biking and swimming, but we absolutely loved and enjoyed coming back to this place. Just as description says - spacious and relaxing. The location is perfect, short drive or bike ride to town and a short drive/bike ride to a beautiful sandy beach at Donegal Bay. The house is literally 2 minutes walk from the lake and one can swim there too, although the bottom is rocky there, so we favored the beach at Donegal Bay. Last but definitely not least, Becca and Bryan are amazing hosts who made us feel welcome as if we were good family or friends. We can't thank them enough for hosting us and for their kindness. We are already looking forward to come again next year."
"This cozy apartment was perfect for our stay on Beaver Island. Clean, comfortable, the screened in porch is a bonus. We heard the loons every day, hummingbirds at the feeder. Easy bike ride into town to the east, or to Donegal Bay Beach to the west. We had a car too, but bikes were easy and fun."
