Such a beautiful, beautiful place in a lovely setting. Such attention to detail, the furnishings, the gardens and sitting areas not to mention the wonderful breakfast that was served. Our host could not have been more helpful or pleasant. We hated that we could only stay one night. Hopefully we can return one day !

This was one of the best stays I have had anywhere. The service is excellent most of all and everything about the place is all you need.

Beautiful historic hotel sensibly and chicly updated. Staff very attentive. Our suite was quite comfortable..terrific bed and lovely bath including charming decor and sitting area. The gardens are amazing and you can walk down to the river Tamar from the hotel. Breakfasts amazing, dinner good. Small niggle; pillows are all the same. I like a softer version fwiw. Hope to come back again; really a stunning spot.

Our stay at Gidleigh Park was extraordinary. I had never experienced the level of service offered or the professionalism of the staff. We felt welcomed and cared for as individuals. The meals were outstanding. I’m so glad I chose to stay there for part of our trip to England’s southwest, but every place after was a bit of a let down.

Was excellent but had to pay a refundable £100 as insurance. Waiting to get my money back tho

Room was clean. Mattress wasnt all that comfortable. Since this is an old old bldg, you have to watch your head, especially if your over 5'5. Food was good. Toffee pudding was only average unfortunately. Otherwise was really good food. First night there was music playing that we could hear in our room. It finally stopped about 9:30-10. There was a security light that went off outside about 1 that shone right into our window and lit it up like Christmas. Thankfully it went off after a few...

This was a beautiful property. The surrounding area was picturebook. We had a very good meal and a good, comfortable sleep. My only issue is the roads were very difficult getting there, so I could not recommend to a tourist with no experience with the narrow roads and remote location.

Fabulous stay at the Horn of Plenty! A beautiful hotel with wonderful staff and amenities. Food was wonderful and beautifully presented. Woukd highly recommend. Wish we could have stayed longer!
