"Overall, clean, beautiful, with great breakfast, and restaurant/lobby area in a good location and with extremely helpful & friendly staff. I showed up with a last minute booking via hotels.com but unfortunately, due to technical error, no room was reserved / available for me. They booked me in the last available room at their sister hotel, so at least I had a place to stay, but, unfortunately, the last available rooom was without much natural light, extremely loud during night, and with intermittent wi-fi and quite different than what I was expecting. The next day, I moved over to Hotel Corps de Garde and it was everything I did expect: good sized room full of light, excellent internet, and good breakfast. I liked it so much, I decided to extend my stay there a few more days."

"The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. We could also use the washer and dryer at no extra charge. Having a kitchenette option was nice. We didn't like the fact that there was no staff at the reception at all times. We had to communicate any issues, questions of requests by phone. This approach was highly unpersonable. We never saw the facility owner at all!!! This unpleasant hotel feature was not disclosed by Trivago at all. Also, it would be nice to have air conditioning in the room because it was very hot. Some toiletries as well as tea and coffee selections were very low. "
