It is pretty close to Mammoth Cave and other features around the area. It is also decorated BEAUTIFULLY to the time period. The price was not outrageous either, would recommend to anyone visiting the area looking for a more personal experience!"

"The property was very nice and clean. I was a little misled with location information. We were looking for something close to mammoth cave and the listing stated 16 minute drive, we couldn’t find that route and it was more like 45 minutes. Maybe if we took the green river ferry but it was only open from 8-6."

"My family and I enjoyed our stay at the Lake house. The sofas and beds are very comfy and the decor sets a relaxing mood. There are a few things that could use some tweaking, like the bedroom door, maybe a larger shower curtain and some attention to the deck. However, over all our stay was very pleasant. I would definitely recommend and also plan on visiting again"

"This was the perfect property to stay in while we visited Mammoth Cave. The beds were comfy and plenty of room for playing games at night or watching a movie. If the ferry is open its a quick 25 minute drive to the caves. Our first night a big storm hit and the ferry was closed all week, so we had a 50 minute drive to the caves, but enjoyed the drive each day."

"The house is private but you can see rooftops through the trees. The lake is close and there is a down ward hill to get to the water, not too steep and doable with bad knees. One really cool part of the house is there are multiple places you can escape to for alone time or having a listen to the sounds of nature on the patio, etc. the kitchen had an impressive selection of cookware and dishes. The bed were comfortable. The air conditioning was great and the gas fireplaces were cozy. We enjoyed...

"Upon arrival we noticed an odor. I had assummed the property was non smoking but soon found a pack of cigarettes above the microwave. Kelly left us a note stating the dishwasher was broken..not a big deal as we would only be eating in a few times. Housekeeping was lacking a bit. Dishes and utensils in the cabinets had food on them. The dining room table had a sticky residue in a couple spots.The dryer lint trap was so packed the dryer would not dry. We had very little cell service in the area...
