"The house was absolutely beautiful. Didn’t get to enjoy outdoor area. However the bumper pool took me back to my childhood. The road in was being paved so that was very bumpy. Due to all the rain it was super muddy. Other than this thank you for a clean, safe, worry free place to stay. Would definitely book again."

"The house was just as described. It was enough room for our family of 5, close enough to everything we wanted to do, & hot tub was great! The only issues, which were not deal breakers & I’d still stay again, were the fact the the loft is super hot for whoever stays up there and the smell of sewage. I assume it is coming from the garage disposal. We bought a candle and some febreeze spray and it was fine. We would definitely stay here again!"

"We had a great stay! The home had amazing views, perfect location, easy access to Banner Elk and other area features—the quiet was perfect busy family members! The home is a wonderful knotty pine accented hideaway that has cozy spaces for each person — well furnished and equipped, the property has the customer’s every need thought out and provided. We loved the downtime to simply see the beauty of sunrises and sunsets!!!"

"It was overall lovely. Great location with easy access to ski slopes. We loved the view, the fireplace and the hot tub. We were informed the day before our stay that the washing machine and the dish washer were not working. We were given a small refund for those missing amenities. The property was pretty clean, but they definitely missed some vacuuming in the living room in front of the couch. We were not able to log into our Netflix account from the TV, and channels were limited."

"The property was beautiful and very spacious. The location on the golf course made it perfect for walking the area if you wanted. We enjoyed watching the deer graze on the golf course. The property manager was very helpful and responded quickly to any questions we had. We only stayed two days in order to ski but I would definitely stay again at this amazing property."

"Skytop Chateau offered the perfect location for our annual extended family vacation. The house is accessed by a long, steep, winding driveway, which makes you feel like you're alone on top of the mountain. We had plenty of space and really enjoyed the long, clear mountaintop view with amazing sunsets. We really loved the large deck and beautiful great room. We also enjoyed Beech Mountain, nearby Banner Elk, and Grandfather Mountain as well as other daily trips to great hiking locations."

"Our stay was awesome. The house was decorated very nicely the hot tub was a fun addition and pretty large. The kitchen was also very well stocked with anything you would need to have a dinner. I would definitely recommend. The only thing I would note is that the “5th” bedroom is in the loft and has an open wall. The sound carries from downstairs if you are a light sleeper. We had to plan accordingly. Love the house. Very clean AND it was pet friendly. We were able to bring our two dogs....
