"The staff was extremely courteous. The breakfast staff was very accommodating. The air conditioning kept the room. Very cool. However, it was not very clean. There were spots on the curtains and the desk chair was disgusting. Our room was not cleaned at all during our stay."

"We stayed at this hotel in Charlotte, NC and were very disappointed with the condition of the room. The entire space felt gross and unclean from the moment we walked in. There were what looked like old vomit stains on the floor between the two beds that had clearly not been properly cleaned. The carpet felt moist and yucky underfoot, which made walking around uncomfortable. The bathroom was in bad shape too — the sink would not drain at all, and there was visible mold in the shower. The microwave in the room (we had a suite) was filthy. Overall, the room just did not feel clean or well-maintained. We could strongly smell weed coming from other rooms throughout the night, so much so that I had to shove towels under the door to try to block it. On top of that, the noise from upstairs was unbearable — it sounded like a herd of elephants and people doing gymnastics until the early morning hours. We barely slept. The front desk staff were friendly and nice (That’s the 2 stars), but they were clearly short-staffed. They mentioned rooms were running behind on cleaning from the night before, which explained a lot. The breakfast was okay (nothing special), but it was hard to enjoy anything in the room because of how dirty it felt. For the price, I expected much better cleanliness and maintenance. This was not a restful or pleasant stay. I would not recommend this hotel or stay here again."

"We just went here this weekend for a couple days to get away and do some antiquing. The rooms are very nice and everything was clean! The staff was amazing! The only thing that I was upset about was that the pool was closed. I didn't see anything about that when I booked the room. Also, the television in the bar leaves little to be desired. They need to really upgrade that or connect it to the internet. Other than that it was wonderful! "
