"I think it's comfortable, clean, and in a good location. I think check-in could be better, currently it's only between 4-6pm which is super difficult but the proprietor accomodated me at 2:30pm. The room was clean but the shower head was broken and the bed was ok."

"Check in was a bit of a hassle. We never received the mandatory checkin email, which required chatting with hotels.com to resolve the issue. We tried to call the smartflats people after receiving the number from hotels.com (the one on the website is disconnected) directly and were put on hold (while we were chatting with hotels.com) and after 15 minutes of being on hold, we hung up. Hasty conversion of a traditional Brussels home by freelance contractor. Shame because very good location in relation to EU institutions. "I stayed at Thon for the first time after staying at a number of different hotels near Brussels Airport. I was originally put off by the overall rating but I’m very glad I read the negative reviews and booked anyway. In my experience (on check-in and check-out) the staff were friendly and professional. If you are looking for an airport shuttle then this hotel doesn’t provide that (as far as I’m aware). There is public transport The room I stayed in was very clean, the bed was really comfy and there was a new smart TV with Netflix and YouTube. In my experience these things are not as standard in most hotels near the airport. I would definitely stay again"
